Web 2.0 and summer school

Here's an interesting story about how some of the technologies we're learning about are being used to create an online version of summer school to help make up for the lack of funding for traditional summer school in the LA Unified School District.

    It does show how a community can have an impact with the students at the university building this space for the local community and to see that it has expanded to another state. I will be sharing this with my Dean to show how we can partner more with the local southside school and families
