Imogen Heap (a singer, for the unfamiliar) had a recent ebay event that was aided by Twitter. Short version: A promo copy of her upcoming CD showed up on ebay. Not good. She signed up to bid for it as well as to have the auction taken down and used her Twitter feed to aid in the efforts.
