This story on twittering the classics raised some interesting questions for me about the value of such activities. Is it merely for entertainment? Does "twitterature" have some actual merit for learning, a place in the formal classroom? And, if so, who does the tweeting?

ReplyDeleteThis story reminds me of the first time I saw the classics as a comic book and wasnt sure if I approved. The reasoning I guess was that younger readers might at least look at it in this form and them when at the correct age pick up the original and read it.
